Díaz responds to Isard performance

Head of Continental team Orbea, Álex Díaz, yesterday evaluated the team's performance in the four-stage Ronde de L'Isard which ended on Sunday. Though the team failed to live up to it's excellent showing in '09, with Mikel Landa unsuprisingly scoring the best results with a fifth on stage 4 and 10th overall, Díaz was a pleased man. "We picked up after experiencing problems the first two days", he said. "The riders learned how to lead the pack and learned how to lead the team. I'm very pleased with the performance. It's important to value the exceptional attitude of the riders. In the last stage they were all splendid. The only negative thing was Ricardo García's fall, but fortunately he's only bruised and OK."
